Set of Three Heart Patterned Cotton Batik Purses from Ghana, "Three of Hearts"

White heart motifs on backgrounds of black, emerald, and russet adorn each of these three purses by Ghanaian artisan Hannah Dodoo. Hand-crafted in the batik style, the purses are of different sizes, but they all feature black wristlets, zipper closures, and black nylon linings. The artisan calls the set of purses Akoma, which means "the heart."
