The modest turtle, along with his close cousin the tortoise, is famously known for his sluggish pace, but also his tenacity and never-give-up attitude. Balinese artisan Komang Sri designs and crafts this set of four turtle ornaments from hand-carved coconut shell. She paints details in golden color.

Nice price, too. Id get more sets like it for me or gifts but nobody needs that many ornaments. I wish they made a multi- animals set.

"Perfect gift for my team"
I gave these to my team as a thank you/Christmas gift. The ornaments came with a card describing the significance of turtles which was perfect inspiration for the team. The ornaments were lovely and exactly as pictured. I particularly appreciate the fact that they can be displayed year-round to serve as a reminder of the turtles tenacity, and never give up attitude!
