Set of 4 Handcrafted Ceramic Talavera Star Ornaments in Blue, "Floral Twilight"
Talavera is an ancient ceramic technique that dates back to the 16th century when religious orders started to share their knowledge with local artisans. Today this art style is present in many lovely artworks, like Mexico's Juana Ponce, who handcrafts this set of four ornaments. After painting floral motifs in a cool palette, Juana adds golden nylon strings for hanging the ornaments anywhere.

"Cherished collection!"
I received my talavera guitar today and was so pleased at the quality and the colors also. The handpainting is all done so very well, and very impressive. "Beautiful piece of Talavera"
I ordered a Praying Mary sculpture for myself some time ago. This time I ordered one for a friend that likes Mexican Talavera and is quite religious. I am sure she will love it because I feel its a beautiful sculpture.
