Named Shango, a Nigerian word meaning "god of thunder," this walking stick is created by Ghanaian artisan Christian Kwesi Tawiah. He hand-carves this walking stick from a single piece of sese wood. Just under the handle, a kneeling figure holds an orb in their hands.
