This wonderfully fluid sculpture is the work of Ibrahim Seyeed in Ghana. He carves the piece from native sese wood, delineating the forms of a couple dancing to a salsa beat. Finished in contrasting light and dark colors, the sculpture creates a unique yin-yang effect.

This exceptionally beautiful mask is excellent in every respect, from the concept and design to the choice and use of materials. Only a first-rate artist would even attempt something this complex, and Ibrahim Seyeed succeeds brilliantly!
