Rain Tree Wood Elephant Puzzle from Thailand, "Elephant Puzzle"
Thai artisan Waraporn Khamsuk handcrafts this puzzle out of rain tree wood, modeling it after the Japanese puzzles called Kumiki or "to join wood together." When assembled, this fourteen-piece puzzle forms the shape of an elephant. The artisan ranks the difficulty of the puzzle as medium.

"A beautiful Puzzle!"
This wooden puzzle is such a delight to put together with my great gradnchildren. And it looks so beautiful sitting on a shelf in our living room. I couldnt be more pleased with this fine piece that combines art with entertainment.

"Cute and easy puzzle but..."
I adore elephants and have quit the collection. The puzzle is easy but I cant get the ears to be in the vertical position.

"Wooden Puzzles"
These puzzles are not only great entertaiment for family and friends but a great center piece (I have mine on the living room coffee table). These puzzles are masterfully crafted from wood and are stunning. Every guest Ive had has sat down and both complimented and played with the puzzles. This is a must have.

"Some of these are definitely tricky!"
Only one of these have I successfully disassembled and reassembled on my own. One of them I disassembled and got the principal to reassemble it before looking it up, but its monstrously hard to do even when you know how unless you have three or four hands. If that were the only puzzle I would deduct a star or two for that, but all the others are well designed and can be disassembled and reassembled with only two hands. All of these puzzles are quite clever and the pieces fit together quite well. This would make a great gift for someone who has children who like puzzles I imagine.

"Good to gather friends and family"
This was a present. Pose to be interesting to gather family.members to tackle the puzzle together. Just keep to keep it in open airy place, as the wood finishing tends to be conducive for mold spores to grow.

These are very nice, well made. Sadly, one of the little puzzles was all apart and I cannot use it. I would never be able to put it back together.
