Characterized by their broad shapes, natural kupu-kupu leaves, dyed orange and yellow, are used to decorate the covers of these journals from Bali. Designed by Komang Sulaksana, this pair is lined in black fabric with agel grass binding and cinnamon stick accents at the spines. Each journal opens to 80 pages of handmade rice paper.

I have purchased journals from this craftsperson several times. They are the nicest journals Ive ever bought. I bought them as gifts and kept one to use as a travel notebook. Its very lightweight, so great for travel. The paper and covers are equally lovely and well made.

I really like the fact that this artisan uses so many natural materials, from rice straw paper to covers made of banana bark fiber. These two journals are decorated with kapu-kapu leaves and the veins of the leaves are very pretty. Of all his journals I think these are my favorites because I love the orange and yellow colors! Very pretty.

These littles horses are even more beautiful than I imagined! They are bigger than I thought (but not too big, perfect for a Christmas tree) and their colors are incredible vibrant! Everything about them is unique, even the little string to place them on the tree. I am happy every time I look at them!!!! considering their unique beauty, they are very affordable too...! Thank you so much, Komang Sulaksana!

While I collect jewelry boxes and already had more than enough space for my earrings, when I noticed Indonesian artisans here were making these jewelry trees, I knew I had to get a bunch to display my earring collection. Of the trees that I have gotten, this one is my absolute favorite. The slight angle at which the leaves are put gives it both more of a feel of living dynamism, and allows the proper spacing of dangle earrings.
