Ruffled rosettes crown an elephant who wears the jingling harness of the royal stables. Carved in dainty jali, or openwork, her tummy reveals a perfect miniature elephant inside--and yet an even tinier one inside of that! Gulam Rasool masterfully sculpts the elegant pachyderms of natural soapstone.

"Stunning and Unique"
Absolutely stunning. Gulams mother elephant is an amazing artwork, gorgeous to look at, display, hold. When I first unwrapped it, I was in awe of its beauty. It gives me great pleasure to see it on my mantle every day and everybody that sees it loves it. I have loved each piece I have purchased from Gulam. I highly recommended Gulam as an amazing, unique artist and craftsman

"Beautiful little mama!"
Simply stunning workmanship! I was amazed by the obvious ability that this artist has. I was a bit disappointed that the soapstone is a mushroomy-lilac sort of color when it is advertised as ivory but the disclaimer states that their may be variations in the soapstone color. I guess that I was just hoping that it might be a warmer color as it would go with my decor a bit better.

"Stunning, exquisite vase."
The detail and artistry in this vase is superb, The intricate carving is spectacular, yet the clean lines of the shape and the white color give an impression of understated elegance. I love it!

"All Shattered"
Every one I received was shattered beyond recognition. I received pieces of soapstone, they were securely wrapped, but demolished by the time they got here. Returns are to complicated to deal with, I cannot recommend this product.

"small but mighty"
This is the smallest of my Buddha sculptures. It is calming to hold or look at. The white alabaster gets attention and is beautiful. I am now a fan of Gulam Rasool.
