"In Baja California Sur, there's a place where I love to go running in the middle of the desert. Wild hares often leap into sight and their speed is impressive!" Marina Pallares confides. "I've also seen photos of when they fight to establish their territories. I wanted to share their beauty and relate them with the night. Although you don't see it, Mexican legend tells how a rabbit lives on the moon." Working in black and white, she creates a small-scale linoleum block print depicting the lean, long-eared rabbits.
Tiled "Liebres en la noche" in Spanish.

I loved this artwork. I think it is inspirational. And the embossed birds flying out of the birdcage makes it particularly unique. If you are on the fence, I would definitely buy.

I love it, its bigger than I thought but beautifully detailed! My only complaint is that it came without the certificate of authenticity. Love Marina Pallares work I owe a few of her pieces
