Meaning "family" in the Akan language, Abusua is the name of this mask from Africa. Ghanaian artisan Samuel Owusu creates the mask, which is hand-carved froms sese wood to depict the face of a man that wears a collar. The faces of a man and a woman point in opposite directions at the top of the mask, which is given a black finish with red accents. A red heart decorates the mask's forehead.
