Working on a traditional telar de pedal, or floor loom, Mexican artisan Mario Chavez hand-weaves this wool runner rug in the traditional style of Zapotec handicrafts. The runner is detailed with intricate, colorful diamond motifs that form geometric patterns. Fringes complete the rug at each end.
