A striking chest presented by the Rios Family of Peru, its colonial design complemented by ancient Inca motifs. The textured surfaces pulsate with the energy of the tumi, a ceremonial knife considered sacred among the ancient civilizations of the Andes. To create the imagery, the artisans meticulously emboss leather by hand, enhancing the natural vision with a delicate application of walnut finish. The chest's frame is crafted from fine tornillo wood, its solid essence offering a worthy backing to the leather composition. This work features interior compartments lined in burgundy velour and a sturdy bronze clasp and hinges.

"Unsurpassed Craftsmanship"
Beautifully finished and detailed small wood and leather chest, most apt for use as a jewelry box. The leather is finely embossed with Inca symbols. I was also surprised that it was larger than it appeared in the picture. This is true craftsmanship and quality. Recommend this artisan and his products highly!

"Amazingly detailed hand tooled leather wood chest"

"A Beautiful Keepsake"
This beautiful box arrived wrapped like a birthday gift. When I unwrapped the box, words could not describe the awe I felt. The workmanship was beyond what I expected. The Tomi Ceremony box actually looks better than shown online. I couldnt be happier with my purchase.Bev Hawaii

"This now a great addition to our life style."
