Handcrafted Ceramic Art Andean Church Scene Figurine, "Sunday Prayers"
Sunday is a day of rest in Andean towns where families gather at the church on the plaza. Petitions and prayers of thanks are offered and, after the service, folks mingle to socialize, shop for the week or sell their handicrafts and farm foods. By ceramic artist Dionisio Rojas, this charming figurine depicts a stuccoed brick chapel crowned by a bell tower. People of all ages in warm sweaters, hats and shawls gather near the doors and await the call to mass.

"Lovely Nativity"
This Nativity brings memories of my visits to Machu Picchu. Its so pretty...such a beautiful work of art. Even the back of the piece shows the terracing of Mach Picchu. Love this.

"A perfect big blue Pucara Bull!"
First, this Pucara Bull looks huge; so much bigger and taller than I expected. He is very, very nicely painted in a lovely color of blue and I really will enjoy owning a fabled Pucara Bull. I especially like the manner in which Mr. Rojas has painted it. So many of the other Pucara Bulls are over-painted and garish. This Bull is perfect, very big and dignified. Well done Mr. Rojas, and thank you.

"Stunning nativity."
Im a collector and have other pieces from Dionisio. This one I had to wait and be informed that it was available again. Last year I took one or two days to decide, and it was gone immediately. This is why when I was notified it was again available I did not hesitated and bought it. It is impressive. The amount of work, creativity and art in this nativity only speaks of Dionisios passion to create what is beautiful and artistic. thank You!!!! I will surely keep on buying from this artist again.

"A Cherished Heirloom"
The Andean Church Nativity arrived in England today. It is absolutely superb. The craftsmanship is wonderful and the whole scene is created with such skill and sensitivity. The packaging was outstanding; I was a little worried unwrapping the Nativity considering the distance it had travelled. It was perfect, every figure was carefully wrapped and protected, even down to the little bell. Thank you so much for the beautiful sculpture; I will treasure it always.
