Ghanaian artisan Elias Dela Dorkenoo designs this mask, hand-carving it of sese wood in the shape of a royal slipper. He paints the wall mask in tones of dark brown and orange, accentuated at the forehead with embossed aluminum that depicts two African swords. Embossed brass at the center of the forehead depicts the adinkra symbol Gye Nyame, which means "except for God." Named Ahenfie, meaning "palace" in Akan, this mask adds a regal touch to your home decor.
