Parvez Alam in India celebrates the magical beauty of the of the rolling hills and seas of India with the pattern on his handwoven wool rug. Alam's preferred weaving technique, called kilim, is characterized by small, straight stitches that form a flat pile. The rug is crafted from 100% wool stitches and a cotton warp with a stylish row of fringe on either end.
