Hand Painted Cut Dried Gourd Birdhouse from Peru, "Citrus Condo"
Setting up birdhouses like this is not only ecological, it adds a splash of color while enticing the creation of new life. Peruvian craftsperson Percy Rojas takes the classic dried gourd and crafts it into something both you and your wild friends will love, hand-painting a bluebird on a yellow-orange background. Please note that each gourd will vary somewhat in size and shape.

"Gourd birdhouse"
Birdhouse is beautifully hand-painted and well crafted. My only complaint is the shape of the gourd is not as pictured. I was not aware of the possibility that the shape of the gourd could be different from picture to actual product. All the pictures on the gourd are the same, and they are beautiful!

"Beautiful addition to outdoor space!"
Lightweight and colorful! Perfect for outdoor space. Think I ll put a coat of acrylic on it to be sure it weathers okay and maintains its vibrant colors.

"My First Gourd Birdhouse"
So beautiful! I had a spot on the porch with no flowering plant this past summer and this beauty made such a lovely addition. I hung it right in front of the porch swing and it just makes me smile when I see it. So colorful! I will be buying more asap! Wonderful workmanship.

"My Second Birdhouse Gourd"
I am so happy with this beautiful birdhouse. It is my second and I am planning on buying a few more. The workmanship is amazing. It is just like the picture too. I love to sit on the porch swing and admire them. I hang them in between my plants in spring, summer, fall and in winter they cheer up my day when the flowering plants are gone. A wonderful find! I will put some in the trees next spring and see who might like to make these houses their home.
