Peruvian artisan Percy Rojas transforms a dried calabash gourd into a nesting shelter. The light blue background is decorated with floral motifs, butterflies and ladybugs. Hang it in your favorite tree in the garden or wherever you relax to watch the birds.

"Absolutely beautiful"
I love sunflowers so I purchased this gourd. The images and colors are so vibrant. Just beautiful. The robins love it too. I know sooner put it out and a few days later there was a little nest. If you love beautiful and unusual items I recommend you purchase from this artist.

"Gorgeous addition to our front yard"

"So cheery!"

"Blue bird mealworms feeder"
This feeder works so well. Bluebirds can get the worms but not blackbirds. Very nice looking. Hanging on front porch.

"My mother loved this!!"
My mother loves sunflowers and birds so it was a perfect combination. When she unwrapped and opened the package (which was beautifully and securely wrapped), she knew exactly what it was, a gourd! "Beautiful!"
I bought this for my aunt, who loves hummingbirds. She hasnt been feeling well, and I thought watching hummingbirds nest outside her window might cheer her up. Well, of course, she loves the gourd birdhouse. Its beautiful. It might be too beautiful to put outside...that made me laugh, but she promises she will hang it outside, in a sheltered spot so it will be protected from the elements. Right now, its hanging in her living room! Either way, she loves it.

"Adds colorful interest (though no birds liked it this summer)"
The gourd adds some color to my green trees in the summer and is constructed well with good design. I put it out in the spring but no birds made it their home...it may just be the types of birds in my area. It stood up well to the seasons sun, wind, and rain so I look forward to hanging it again next year.
