Francisco Huaynate Paucar finds inspiration in the legendary figures of the Nazca Plain, which can only be seen in their entirety from the air. It is said the Nazca people made them so the gods could see them. There are hundreds of complex figures, including the monkey with tightly coiled tail representing a spiral, a magical symbol. Huaynate weaves the wool and cotton tapestry on a traditional loom. It features a loop for rod insertion.
