Hand Made Half-Moon Shape Crocodile Wood Chess Set, "Half-Moon Challenge"
Challenge your intellect on the road with this fold-and-go traveling chess set. Nyoman Indrawati Subrata of the Subrata Family crafts it from crocodile and arang woods and hand-carved details that frame the chessboard. When you're finished playing, flip the board over, place the player pieces inside and fold the board in half. A wooden handle lets you easily take the game to your next location.

"Magnificent!"
Barong is now busy protecting the house, frightening evil spirits but grinning heartily at the rest of us. He has added a colorful and life-enhancing presence that is a delight to encounter daily. After his arrival I particularly enjoyed watching Barong dance rituals on YouTube and highly recommend them to anyone contemplating ordering the mask since you ll understand his significance and character better. Incidentally, I had no trouble hanging him on the wall with a tiny bit of ingenuity.

"Wedding gift"
Absolutely beautiful. I gave this pair as a wedding gift and the recipients loved them. A unique piece of art has more meaning than a store bought, massed produced article and supports the craftsmen and their family. Please dont hesitate if considering a carving by the Subrata Family. You will not be disappointed.

"Legong Kraton Dancer"

Subrata has been a master carver for many years. He is one of the original Novica artisans and now provides work to other artisans at his carving workshop. He has trained his daughter, Indrawati, in all aspects of his business and she will keep the workshop going when Subrata no longer is able to.
