Spend the day in style wearing this comfortable dress designed by India's Una Gupta. Crafted from 100% cotton, the dress features a screen-printed star and flower pattern on a warm red background. The artisan accents two slit pockets and a rounded neckline with black kantha stitch work, a traditional embroidery style common in India. A row of coconut shell buttons from neckline to hemline finishes the dress in style.

“LOVE THIS TOP!”

Lightweight for our hot summers! Love the color & pattern. Hand-stitching in contrast color - what a sweet detail. Nice coconut buttons. You could snip off the tie-back if thats not your style. Came in a mesh bag that made it even more special. I would wash with care 7 no-heat dry because I want this top to last - love everything about it! Would buy in different colors if available.

For the past five or six years, it has been difficult for Una to focus on her fashion workshop. She has been caring for her mother, who is now in the advanced stages of Alzheimers and no longer recognizes her. Una must constantly watch her mother to ensure that she does not harm herself or others. In addition to the limitations it places on Una with her work, it is extremely painful for her to watch her mother disappear in front of her.
