Hand Crafted Nahual Sculpture of Owl Woman, "Big Owl Woman"
Although it has numerous meanings and translations, in some Mesoamerican traditions a nahual is a person's spirit animal, or even someone who has the ability to shapeshift into that animal. This brilliant nahual sculpture of a woman with the body of an owl is crafted by the Aguilar Artisan Workshop in Mexico. The artisans use local clay to form the sculpture, which is then dried, painted and fired at high temperatures.

"Absolutely exquisite sculpture"
I am so happy with this sculpture as I have always had a passion for cats! The white/black looks like my current kitty and the orange one reminds me a bit of my other boycat who passed in May. Thank you for your beautiful work.
