By Peruvian artisan duo Antuane and Santos, this pendant necklace carries an air of power wherever it goes. A steadfast elephant is hand-carved from natural guacayan wood, centering simple cotton cord that closes with a clasp of aluminum.

"Best Cherished Heirloom"
This was a perfect gift for my adult daughter who is still a kid at heart. She is a big elephant lover. We had seen a movie about living abroad and saving the lives of baby elephants. She wanted to do this, but couldnt. This necklace is a beautiful reminder of loving & trying to help this cause living here in the U.S. The wood is beautiful, and she was delighted with this necklace!

"Simple design made beautiful and captivating."
This elephant is the most beautiful of its kind that I have seen. The wood grain is not apparent in the photos, and it was a welcome surprise. The photo simply doesnt come close to convey its beauty. Theres just enough detail to make it unmistakably an elephant, yet it is not overdone. The artist has captured the sweetness of these sensitive and intelligent animals. The size is perfect--a noticeable statement piece that is not too large as to be gaudy. Such a lovely piece, Id gotten it for a gift, and now I hope to get another for my own. The price is more than reasonable. I cant praise it enough.

"Nice summer accent!"
This necklace looks so nice with a simple summer top or sundress - it is short enough that it falls perfectly above the neckline. The wood is smooth and so lightweight you hardly know you are wearing it. Very happy!
