Store accessories and keepsakes in this charming decorative box from Ghanaian artisan Ralph Ashong. Hand carved from cape cedar wood, the purple box is patterned with petite dots on all four sides and opens to a single compartment that is perfect for small items. The black lid of the box is adorned with an mauve adinkra symbol called dwannimmen, an Akan word meaning "humility and strength." Adinkra symbols are believed to have their origin an ancient kingdom that once stood where Ivory Coast is today in West Africa.

The mirror is far more beautiful than the images. The leaves are laid over the underlying frame and caste a small relief. The green is a hue and has a depth of color. It is very professionally finished and perfect in every way. Packed beautifully and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you Ralph and Novica, I could not have asked for better.
