Togog Suyasa carves the albesia sculpture by hand with admirable realism, offering his art in reverence to the spiritual teacher. Suyasa finishes the sculpture with painted details and gilt applications. According to scripture, Buddha achieved enlightenment while meditating beneath the pipal tree, which became known as a bodhi, or "enlightened" tree.

“Hes Perfect”

I have many things Ive collected for xmas over the years--Ill buy one and then add to it each year. Wooden Santas are my most recent treasures, and this one did not disappoint. Hes perfect, and fits right in with his taller companions. Thank you for a beautiful addition to my collection.

“Adorable! Bought this set to give one to a friend”

I hope Togog Suyasa makes more of these friends. I bought the last set. I am giving the larger one to a friend for Christmas and am keeping the smaller one for a while. It will eventually be given as a gift to someone. I have a rabbit that Togog made, too..We love it! These are so much FUN!
