This voluptuous cape evokes ripe wheat in brown in fields of pale blue-grey. By Waldo Berrios, this traditional Andean ruana cloak is open at the sides and front. The artisan works in a warm blend of alpaca to knit the cozy wrap.

"Very Special, Warm, and Classy"
The Andean Wheat Ruana is my new favorite thing! The craftsmanship is wonderful, the colors are wonderful, the fall of the fabric is wonderful. Many thanks to Waldo for his design and creation. My husband wants one now too :)

"Gorgeous Alpaca Scarf!"
Mr. Berrios designs and creates beautiful scarfs and other textiles. The colors are vibrant and the quality is perfect. I will buy from him again in the future . I appreciate Novica for giving us the opportunity to shop with these incredible artisan around the world.

"Comfy and beautiful ruana"
The material is a blend that includes 5% wool. Unfortunately, I have allergy to wool and my neck itches when I wear the ruana directly on the skin. This problem is easily solved but I would encourage Mr. Berrios to consider replacing wool with a different material, maybe more alpaca wool in the blend.

"This is my new favorite cool-weather wrap"
This is so gorgeous and warm and stylish! I love indigenous patterns and artisan work, and this is my new favorite topper for cool weather (I live in LA). I wore it to an art event with jeans and plan to wear it to dressy events as well. I love that it is reversible also, so you can emphasize either the black tones or the brown tones.
