"Lovely Locket Necklace"
This necklace/locket is unique, but it has my wifes birthstone so that makes even more special if coming from Bali and Java was not enough.

"Simply beautiful"
This necklace is beautiful and very well made. It is thicker than I thought it was going to be, so not really good for a picture, but perfect for holding other mementos.

"Beautiful!"
I received this piece unfortunately damaged (squashed). It was replaced even before the damaged one got back to them. This is such a gorgeous piece. Still cant decide what to store in it...has to be something special!

"My favorite Ring"
I absolutely love this ring. I would say not to wear it when taking a shower though. Over time the whiteness of the bone has faded. But, I simply do not care. For me that adds to the charm of the ring.

"Sadly did not love, returned"
A big, bold piece just was not as I hoped. Just seemed to sit so high above my finger, looked odd. And a little narrower than my finger so the band underneath was visible when looking straight down at it. Disappointed as it was a beautiful combination of materials & great craftsmanship. A pendant would ve been awesome.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.
Caring for Children
When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
