Embroidered Cotton and Silk Blend Indian Shawl in Slate, "Slate Midnight"
Uma Tripathi creates this shawl of cotton and silk blend fibers for a lightweight, comfortable accessory. A solid color of slate with a purple tint is accented with elegant Indian chikan embroidery. Chikan is a traditional method believed to have been inspired by Persian techniques, involving a process where the fabric is first block printed and then embroidered with designs.
