Romantic love, that universal feeling that unites two people in life and also in the afterlife, is the inspiration behind Peruvian artisan Jose Ramos' remarkable retablo where that powerful emotion is represented by two enamored skeletons on their wedding day. Inspired by the Day of the Dead, this exceptional diorama is meticulously handcrafted from black walnut wood. Its hand-painted ceramic figurines are skillfully arranged within with a prominent heart on the top that proudly bears the message "Together forever" in Spanish. Elaborate floral and leaf designs grace the doors which can be displayed opened or closed, offering versatility and enhancing the overall charm of this decorative accent.

"Bursting with character"
Just received my retablo after looking at them for many years. This Mask Shop is filled to the gills with colorful, quirky and expressive tiny detailed masks. It is beautifully constructed and came well packed. Highly recommend to collector or for a gift.

"Truly beautiful and unique"
I love this nativity and it occupies a cherished spot on my mantel for Christmas. Looks handmade and the unusual colors are beautiful. My one issue was that two of the very delicate pieces had broken off when it arrived. I was able to glue them back on just fine, but I think the teeny tiny styrofoam pellets are not the best packing material for inside the retablo. They also went ALL over my house! Not a big problem and I love the piece
