Cubic Zirconia and Sterling Silver Lotus Pendant Necklace, "Guadalajara Lotus"

Silver jewelry maker Katherine Satizabal says "Nature is a great teacher — it is my main inspiration." Satizabal immigrated to Mexico from Colombia, and here, like so many other foreigners, she found that Mexico gave sustenance to her creative side. This sterling silver and cubic zirconia necklace is her interpretation of a lotus flower, which is shown with its petals closed but has a mechanism that allows the petals to be displayed open as well.
