Details

This beautiful, elegant shawl is made from 100% cotton. Woven by Tejedoras Ixmucane, indigenous weavers of Guatemala, this shawl features intricate designs and patterns passed down through generations. These delicate patterns are created through a painstaking process known as pik'bil. The ancient pik'bil technique involves creating raised designs in the fabric by carefully lifting and interweaving the threads in the desired shape. This shawl features blue dragonfly designs with fringes and a webbed pattern on the bottom.
