"For the man that loves watches!"

The watch is beautiful! The delicate handwork in a weighted case is to be treasured. It looks wonderful with my brother’s suits. Definitely a conversation starter. Thanks to the artist!

"Poor Quality"

I thought this a very attractive watch and ideal for my needs. Unfortunately, after only a couple of months, the lid closer mechanism on the watch failed. Now the watch pops open all the time - not good! For the price, this seems a very poor quality item.

"Versatile Watch"

I love wearing this beautifully designed watch. While giving museum tours, it is easy to check time w/o the obvious checking your wristwatch! Also love that it is a classy piece of jewelry that I can wear from day to evening.

"Love it!"

I am super hard on watches so my Mother suggested just this thing. It combines my love of everything Celtic with the practical need for a timepiece. I really like that I can wear it as jewelry or clip it to my purse!

"Beautiful as well as functional"

The watch arrived missing some of the 'protective' packaging and the catch was difficult to operate from the beginning. While it has improved a bit, it is still not easy to open if the watch is worn as a necklace.

"Beautiful Watch-Pendant and Chain Look as Pictured!"

Exactly as pictured and looks great. The only issue we had was the battery was dead when we received it, requiring replacement before we could use the watch pendant.

"Not worth a plug nickel."

After ordering the first one as a Christmas gift, I contacted NG in April because the watch had stopped working and the stem was totally stripped. I contacted Customer Service, who were wonderful. They sent out a second watch. My friend didn't even take the second one out of the box. We looked at it, set the time and the next day, showed it to her sister. It had stopped keeping time. I have asked for a full refund. Perfect gift for my Irish friend, but she neeeds a watch that actually tells time.

"Huge disappointment"

This product seems to be sub-par quality. The cover does not open unless pried open with two hands. I'd suggest that Nat Geo drop this inferior quality product. Look to other comments for similar experiences.

"Pretty Pendant Watch"

I'd been looking for a pendant watch for some time, but either balked at the price or the design, until I saw this one. The Celtic knot design is pretty, and the pewter finish doesn't require the polishing that sterling silver or silverplate does. The size is right for a pendant; anything larger would be rather heavy or too bulky for my taste. So far, it keeps excellent time, which, in this day and age, is expected. I have no idea whether it's water resistant, but I'd never wear it in the shower, anyway. Also, I have no idea how shock resistant it is. Nobody ever plans to drop a watch, but accidents happen. It would be nice if the listing could include some information about how water resistant and shock resistant it is -- or isn't. My only criticism, which I knew about when I decided to order it, is that the chain is stainless steel links. I may swap it for a sterling silver box or snake chain of similar length, but the chain that came with it looks fine. A short double carabiner chain clip comes with the watch. Not sure whether this is stainless or pewter, but it doesn't matter to me. The caribiners are just large enough to hook onto a jeans-sized belt loop, as an alternate way to wear it. Overall, I give it a "thumbs up."

"I love it! Beautiful and practical."

Smaller than I imagined, but the watch is still easy to read, easy to wear and I get lots of compliments when I wear it. Sometimes I find it has fallen open, but this isn't really a problem and is probably caused by my not closing it properly. I haven't had it very long so I can't speak to its durability etc.

"One watch great; second one deflective."

First watch was a present for my daughter. It was just as described and I was very pleased and she loves it. Bought a second one for myself but returned it because there were two defects making it difficult to read: the watch face was off center and the lid did not open fully. I would recommend this product with reservations.

"Attractive, but with issues"

I wear this to work every day and have had it for months. People like it and comment on it, and it's handy when the clasp is working. The clasp was very stiff at first, and it got better, but now it's getting to be a two-handed issue to open it. The necklace is wearing to the point where it's no longer silver, but as I said I wear it every day to work, and the description only says it is X long, not that it's silver or even nickel or some white metal. I think it's best as a formal necklace, not as a workhorse.

I can no longer wear a wrist watch as it bruises my arm so I used to have a pendant and decided to go back to one and I love this ones! Have had good comments on it and asked where I purchased it.
