"I plan on teaching my oldest son to paint, since he draws very well and I would like to encourage him..."
"I was born in 1968 in Rio de Janeiro. As a self-taught artist, I had always drawn on paper, until, in 1995, I met an artist who encouraged me to try painting. With the help of my aunt, who is also a fine artist, I decided to take a risk.
"On my own I discovered acrylic and abstract painting, the medium and style, respectively, that I have come to prefer. The year following this discovery, I closed my business and began selling my paintings in the GAPAL [Public Gallery of Art], an open-air art fair.
"I have plans to study more so that I may perfect my abstract style. Other than that, I plan on teaching my oldest son to paint, since he draws very well and I would like to encourage him to follow in my carreer, which has been successful. I hope that my wife will soon join in as well, so that we may be a family of artists.
"I consider Novica to be a highly interesting and rewarding experience; it allows a previously anonymous artist the opportunity to become well known through a site visited by people all over the world. I am certain that my partnership with Novica will continue to be fruitful and that I will find more people around the world who are willing to invest in my work."
