Bringing the beauty of exotic music to your home, this agogô is created by Brazilian artisan Jo Percussivo. The self-taught artisan works with a musical passion as he hollows out two Brazil nuts, attaching their shells to a piece of imbiriba wood. An accompanying wood stick is used for striking the instrument. The agogô is meant to be held in one hand, while the off-hand strikes the bells with the stick, creating pleasing sounds. The bells can be struck alternatively or together, creating a variety of sounds and rhythms.
