Seguso Family artisans create this magnificent art glass centerpiece. Colorful stripes align along the narrow translucent oval. Its vivid elegance conjures the color of carnaval or a circus show. The Seguso family has lived in Murano, Italy since the 1300s. Mario Seguso moved to Brazil in the 1950s and his family carries on his masterful blown glass techniques.
The presence of air bubbles accentuates the nature of the traditional hand blown crafting process, making each piece unique.

This paperweight is very cute with its pointed little head. I really like it and might keep it for myself even though I ordered it for someone else.
