Balinese Handcrafted Harmony Ball Heart Necklace in Silver, "Forever Love"
Silver tendrils outline ornate hearts on a sterling globe in this necklace from Sukartini. The petite pendant encloses a hidden brass ball that reverberates like a chime. A silver chain completes the delightful design.
Also called "angel necklaces" and "harmony balls," Such necklaces are often worn by pregnant women in Bali and also in Mexico. Many wear it as an amulet. Others prefer a long chain that lets the pendant reach to the belly and the delicate sounds are thought to soothe the mother and the baby she is carrying. Some believe it summons a guardian angel, thus making it a symbol of loving protection.

"Huge!"
Even though I looked at the size before I bought these, they seem enormous. Very pretty, just ... a bit too enthusiastic. Im not sure if I have the nerve to wear them -- usually mine are smaller

"Beautiful Silver blue topaz Earrings"
