Artisan Crafted Nature Themed Cotton Parasol, "Cranes at Water's Edge"
This magnificent parasol is the work of Thai artisan Nikom. Using oil paints, he creates a scene of cranes at the edge of an idyllic pond, with blossoms and bamboo trees arcing overhead. The parasol is crafted of cotton with a sturdy bamboo frame.

"Just Love This Umbrella"
This colorful, lovely work of umbrella art would have been perfect except I have a hard time opening it completely. Could it be due to my age(78)? I would like to find out if you also create smaller versions of these umbrellas, Mr. Nikom. I believe they are called monks umbrellas in Thailand. I would like to purchase at least half a dozen of them to give away as gifts if you do.

- When not in use, I use it as a decoration in my family room to add a splash of color

"Gorgeous!"
Gorgeous way to shade yourself from the hot sun while you are out and about at the farmers market or a festival or whenever you need shade! The painting on the canvas is bright, vibrant and beautiful! I highly recommend any of the items from Nikom!

"Protect your skin with style and grace"
I wanted a feminine, delicate-looking (yet sturdy) parasol to wear with Regency period costume. This fit the bill perfectly, and also looks smashing with modern-day clothes. And, of course, it keeps my fair skin cool and shaded from the summer sun.
