Delivery EstimateA pantheon of ancient deities appear on this rotund ceramic vessel. Walter Jose Acosta takes his inspiration from Peru's Nazca people, a pre-Inca culture that lived in the Andes. This huaco, or clay vessel takes the preferred shape for their highly developed ceramics. Beautifully recreated by Walter Jose Acosta, it is meticulously painted by hand.

This work is of the highest quality, a detailed reproduction of Nasca form and iconography unmatched not only in its aesthetic quality but also as a tool for the close-up study of typified Nasca figural representation.

Ive admired Nazca pottery in museums for several years; so I was stunned to see a replica for sale on Novica, and ordered it immediately. If like me youre fascinated by ancient Nazca iconography, and are struck by the rich colors in the photographs, you will thank yourself for ordering Mr. Acostas beautiful work.
