Perfect for a Sunday outing to the park, Ashish Mehta's mini chess set is designed for intellectuals on the go. The Indian artisan crafts the board from three types of wood, alternating haldu and acacia wood squares in a classic checkerboard pattern. Dark ebony wood and light haldu wood are used for the pieces. The board features a circular cover lined in black velvet that keeps the petite set safe while you're not playing.

“These turtles sure have a story to tell!”

I originally bought this set to keep one and give one away -- but now they are together on my fridge.... They need to stay together - supporting each other. I bought the last set. I hope Ashish makes more for you to purchase. I looked at all of the photos posted and the turtles are in conversation. Quite a story! Thank you Ashish for these treasures.
