"It was thanks to my father that I had my first acquaintance with Taxco silver jewelry. He was a writer and helped found the Encyclopedia México. We were financially disadvantaged, and my father always looked for options to improve our lifestyle. And it was at that moment that I fell in love with Mexican silver.

"I took several courses to learn how to handle silver properly, and I decided to create my studio at home. I invited loved ones also interested in learning the art of silver. I also learned a lot from a young jeweler of French origin. And then I started exhibiting in my husband's galleries.

"My great teachers and allies were passion and dedication — they taught me to persevere despite my mistakes. My inspiration mostly comes from the variety of stones and gems I find. I immediately imagine new designs with them and I start working on them. It is inevitable.

"It has been an extremely fun process, exhibiting my jewelry and talking about how I get inspired and work every day. This has let me support institutions that benefit other families.

"My greatest satisfaction is seeing the pleasure of those who acquire my designs. This is when I know I have fulfilled my mission. I want to reach more places and people who love Mexico, like I do."
