Seen from above, people go about their daily round in a dizzying blur of color. Joseph Kobina depicts the throngs with a fiery palette cooled by blue and white. "As a crowd, their destiny is scattered, each person living a different destiny is life," the Ghanaian artist explains. "I believe that since our souls are different, our destinies are different too."
