22k Gold Accented Geometric Dangle Earrings, "Opposition"

These fabulous earrings are the original creation of Zaida Lanning in Peru. The geometric dangle earrings are crafted of sterling silver that is enhanced with dramatically different finishes. The squares are given a darkly oxidized finish, while the circles are finished with the keum-boo technique, an ancient Korean gilding method whereby a thin sheet of 22k gold is applied to silver with heat and pressure. The thoroughly modern earrings dangle from sterling silver posts.
