100% Baby Alpaca Knit Ruana in Brown with Geometric Pattern, "Song of the Andes in Brown"
An easy and elegant option for outerwear, this knit ruana from Peruvian artisan Jorge Molina is bordered at the bottom with the type of figures that typically characterized the art and culture of ancient Andean societies. Crafted from luxuriously soft baby alpaca, the camel-colored ruana features red and indigo among the many tones of its geometric motif. A hook and eye closure at the center of the scoop neckline accentuates the symmetry of the warm ruana's design. Baby alpaca refers to the fine fleece from the season's first shearing.

"Blue Jean Princess"

I can not get over the light weight of this baby alpaca poncho. The pattern on sleeve and cowl is subtle and lovely. The blue is deep and rich. Truly a work of art that I will wear and value like a royal Incan treasure. Thank you, Jorge Molina! Wearing this makes me feel like a Blue Jean Princess! Of course I will not relegate it to blue jeans only ; )

"Love this poncho"

This poncho is so unique and lovely. The foldover neckline drapes beautifully and the contrast of the red design against the black is just striking. The fabric is soft and this poncho is well made. I have another expensive Italian black cashmere poncho which I love but this Novica poncho has quickly become my favorite. I know I will enjoy wearing this for many years to come and am sure I will receive many compliments. My husband rarely compliments clothes I buy but he had glowing compliments on this poncho which is definitely high praise from him.

"Love the style"

Beautiful poncho-sweater? but be careful not to get jewelry or a hairbrush caught in it as the knit pulls easily.

"Fair Isle Knit Poncho"

I am always worried about sizing, as it varies so much from the U.S.A and Australia. My solution is to purchase One Size or Fits Most. This beautiful soft green, 100% baby alpaca wool poncho/sweater is a nice fit for me. The sleeves are narrow and firm so can be bloused up a little to show-off the pattern, the body is loose (to cover my tummy), and Im just mad about the collar. All positives.
