These ornaments from Maxim's shop in Uzbekistan are absolutely beautiful. I worked in Central Asia for a time and I developed a love for the cultures and the region (ikat and suzani textiles, Uzbek carpets and bags, and ceramics join Early American antiques in my historic farmhouse for a very eclectic and cozy bohemian space!), and my first Saluki was a Tazi variant from the Tien Shan in Kazakhstan, where they're named the "Hounds of Heaven." These ornaments capture the beautiful and intricate patterns of the ikat textiles, and they are both sturdy and beautifully made. More than 5 stars, and I hope for more patterns in future...thank you to Maxim!
