This beautifully painted box could be used for so many things! It could be a jewelry box, a presentation tea chest for guests at a party, a coffee table box to hold coasters or candles. I use it for all my cuff-style bracelets which do not fit in most other jewelry boxes.
In Kenya Giraffe is called Tiga. I was adopted by a Woman from the Katiga Clan of the Luos, they are the "Far Seers". This wood giraffe is great, beautifully carved with a good sized place in side for some special jewelry. Tiga stands up proudly to see far.
This little box is so cute! I love the choice of colors. I had a bit of a time figuring out how the box opened the first time (it was a bit snug), but now it's no problem--I just didn't want to break it! It's beatifully lined with black velvet and just the right size for little treasures. I have it prominently displayed for all to enjoy when they come to my home.
