I have this ruana in 2 different colors. I love them both. Theyre very soft and beautifully made. They can be worn when dressed up or in jeans. I get many compliments when I wear these. Theyre warm, but not hot, so perfect in Fall or Spring. You cant go wrong with this wrap.

Beautiful poncho-sweater? but be careful not to get jewelry or a hairbrush caught in it as the knit pulls easily.
Fair Isle Knit Poncho
I am always worried about sizing, as it varies so much from the U.S.A and Australia. My solution is to purchase One Size or Fits Most. This beautiful soft green, 100% baby alpaca wool poncho/sweater is a nice fit for me. The sleeves are narrow and firm so can be bloused up a little to show-off the pattern, the body is loose (to cover my tummy), and Im just mad about the collar. All positives.

Multi-Color Striped 100% Alpaca Wool Knit Fringed Poncho, "Swirling Fire"
Artisan Ana Fernandez of Peru designs this 100% alpaca wool knit poncho with red and multicolor stripes that artfully swirl around the body. Light and warm and finished with fringe, this poncho makes an excellent layering piece. About her work, the artisan says, "For me, designing is a fusion of ideas. I blend fashion trends with my own favorite sources of inspiration, which are Victorian textiles and our Peruvian culture. I love designing apparel of alpaca wool and cotton because this really makes a contribution to society. It lets me give jobs to local people, especially women who want to get ahead and move to central Peru seeking a better future.”
Blue Bohemian Style One Size Fits Most Poncho from Peru, "Indigo Shadow"
Drape yourself in the indigo blue folds of this poncho by Peruvian artisan Alfredo Falcon. The artisan uses a touch of famously soft baby alpaca (the fleece acquired from the first shearing of the season) for this design. The poncho features a V-neck and a unique diamond knit pattern. The poncho's angled cut makes for a flattering silhouette in tranquil blue. You'll be the picture of elegance in this poncho.
