Drawing inspiration from the textiles of the ancient Inca, Peruvian artisan Waldo Berrios creates this stunning and lovely poncho. He works with a luxuriously soft alpaca blend, knitting this sleeved poncho to feature geometric spiral patterns in contrasting hues of russet and black.

"Much Respect"
Time, practice and patience are evident in this work of art. Yes, art. I would truly have to start my life over to achieve the expertise in the creation of this poncho. The color, pattern and symmetry drew me in and I had to add this to my wardrobe.

"My cozy fall poncho!"
I ordered this piece partly because I was intrigued by a poncho with sleeves! I thought it might be warmer than typical open-sided ponchos and I wasnt disappointed. The warm, rich colors and added sleeves made it perfect to wear for a special Thanksgiving dinner! I love the bold ethnic design and will enjoy it for years to come!

This is a beautifully designed garment, wonderful combination of sweater and poncho very creative. I am quite small and it fits and drapes beautifully. The colors are true to the picture. It also looks great with lots of different styles of jewelry. A real find. I highly recommend it!”

"Comfy and beautiful ruana"
The material is a blend that includes 5% wool. Unfortunately, I have allergy to wool and my neck itches when I wear the ruana directly on the skin. This problem is easily solved but I would encourage Mr. Berrios to consider replacing wool with a different material, maybe more alpaca wool in the blend.

"This is my new favorite cool-weather wrap"
This is so gorgeous and warm and stylish! I love indigenous patterns and artisan work, and this is my new favorite topper for cool weather (I live in LA). I wore it to an art event with jeans and plan to wear it to dressy events as well. I love that it is reversible also, so you can emphasize either the black tones or the brown tones.
