In tones of ivory, amber, and navy, bold geometric patterns are printed onto this men's cotton shirt from Bali. The motifs are applied using the batik method, where a wax resist is stamped by hand onto the fabric before it is dyed. Hari and Arthur design this casual accessory, featuring a collar, short sleeves, and a button-up front.

Creamy white cotton is dyed using shades of blue with batik, a resist-dyeing technique, to create the traditional kawung and parang motifs, both originally used by Indonesian royal families. Hari and Arthur design the shirt while embracing unexpected results, which they say adds to the uniqueness of his handcrafted textiles. The button-down shirt includes hidden coconut shell buttons and a chest pocket.

India's Ritu Agnihotri pays homage to the vibrant city of Mumbai with a gorgeous garment featuring hand-block printed motifs typical of the elegant Kota Doria textiles. This cotton and silk midi skirt features a leafy redwood pattern layered on top of small navy circles. The skirt features an elastic waistband and a zipper closure on the side seam, allowing a comfortable fit. The hem ruffle is printed in a midnight hue with a combination of chevron and striped motifs.

Isha Jain celebrates India's textile and fashion legacies with the gorgeous design of this tunic. In cool turquoise blue, the tunic is sewn of chanderi, in which a 100% silk warp is combined with a 100% cotton weft, resulting in crisp, glossy sheer textures. Jain masters hand-block printing techniques in green, blue and black to adorn the tunic with floral and leafy patterns. Green silk taping trims the cuffs and hemline. Featuring lateral side slits and three-quarter length sleeves, the tunic is lined with cotton.

Named after a city in Madhya Pradesh, chanderi fabrics can be traced back to Vedic times; however, it was not until the 1970's that the cotton and silk blend fabric was developed.

Please note that due to the nature of the raw yarn used for weaving, chanderi textures are somewhat crisp.
