The fashionable patchwork dress boasts colorful vine, leaf and dragonfly motifs in a vibrant palette of azure, teal, chartreuse, white and wisteria shades. Inspired by textiles from Thailand's Lisu Hill Tribes, Chattima fuses cultures in this elegant navy jacket. Made from a cotton and hemp blend the open jacket highlights Lisu Strips on the cuffs and front opening. This traditional textile is made by overlapping and folding thin strips of brightly colored fabric producing an applique patchwork that is applied to clothing. Chattima sympathetically combines this with hand stamped indigo fabric inserts on the cuff from the Hmong tribe and hand made silk rozettes on the placket. A single hand tied robe button finishes the neckline.
