Crafted in the distant lands of India, Rajesh Gehlot's red and green tree skirt features an exquisite wool felt design that combines the traditional holiday day theme with the region's celebrations, all represented by the cute elephants around the piece.

Fastening with a lucky ringing bell, this bracelet holds the charm of a Thai elephant. Tiraphan Hasub crafts the brown bracelet by hand, alternating brass and carnelian beads and forming three strands. The bracelet fastens at one of two lengths.

Two royal elephants rest under the shade of a magnificent tree, telling a tale of majesty and divinity. Designer Amit Moza works with a talented team to create this regal tapestry, made in honor of India's traditions. Refined wool threads in crimson, white and black hues form the piece, following a chain-stiched pattern.

Inspired by the ideologies of people like Albert Einstein and Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghanaian artisan Akwele Suma hand-crafts a lovely beaded pendant necklace recreating nature, animals and humans living together in harmony as a symbol of justice and peace. A collection of lovely charms depicting people, trees, fish, elephants, birds, houses, the globe and a pendant of the scales of justice are handmade from recycled cardboard, detailed with ink, knotted onto a silk cord and topped with sese wood beads.

As a master of the mind, Ganesha encourages others in their pursuits of learning and advanced studies, aiding in focus and intellect with his ubiquitous presence which draws all minds to the center. Depicted in his commonly-accepted four-armed form, wearing a floral crown and patterned textiles, Ganesha appears levitating while seated, seemingly superimposed over the peacocks of the background. Bharti Dayal creates 'Ganesha - The Beginning' to honor the deity's role as the giver of new beginnings and to tell the authentic story of India's vivid experience with Hinduism, painting handmade paper with vegetable-derived colors.

"Madhubani paintings are in fact a simplistic manifestation of the philosophical heights achieved by Indian civilization for the universal power of love, longing and peace; the quest of all beings," Dayal says.

Ringing bells and smiling elephants appear in the melodious design of this bracelet. Bright carnelian gems, which represent July´s birthstones, alternate with brass bells and beads in a brown bracelet designed and crafted by Thailand's Tiraphan Hasub. According to Buddhist customs, ringing bells bring good luck.
