Vishnu is the supreme creator and guardian of the universe, transcending space and time and inspiring many artists throughout history. Balinese artisan Nyoman Rena says he draws inspiration from this powerful deity to create this handcrafted sterling silver pendant necklace with an amethyst stone embellishing a Vishnu image.

"My hope regarding world peace: may all creatures in the world always be in harmony, peaceful horizontally and vertically or what is called the concept of Tri Hita Karana in the teachings of Hinduism. Meanwhile, the reality of the world today is different, it is turning away from our expectations, such as economic war or competition in life which justifies all means and forgets the principles of brotherhood and kinship," says the artisan.

Designed by Wayan Trisna, this stunning pendant necklace is inspired by the seven chakras: spinning disks of spiritual energy used in ancient meditation practices. The Balinese artisan uses sterling silver to hand craft the pendant, accenting each chakra with a different gemstone: purple amethyst, crimson garnet, fiery carnelian, bright peridot, cool iolite, sunny citrine, and pale rainbow moonstone.

A glorious gold and tiger's eye pendant centers this gorgeous long necklace designed by Ayu Widiani and crafted by Balinese artisans. Tiger's eye orbs alternate with 18k gold-plated brass beads, while two strands of fine mesh polyester close with a lobster claw clasp. Wear it long, or double it over for a different look.

The fly-by-night nature of the wise bird is captured in this pendant necklace in beautiful detail by Made Wardika. The circular pendant features a smiling crescent-moon hand-carved from bone, with a sterling silver owl family perched beside on a blooming branch. Below sits a faceted one-carat garnet in a setting of Balinese swirls and granules.
